It's Book Fair week in the library! Students and teachers are having a blast picking out "forever" books during the school day. The fair runs through Thursday, November 6th, ending with Family Night from 6-8pm. Stop by and support literacy and the Southold PTA!

Now that their fame has died down, Mo and Dale are looking for their next mystery to solve. After Miss Lana accidentally buys the haunted Tupelo Inn at an acution, Mo and Dale snap into action to figure out who is doing the haunting. What I'm Reading Now...

I'm currently reading, The Ghosts of Tupelo Landing, the sequel to the Newbery Honor winning, Three Times Lucky by Sheila Turnage. This fast-paced sequel follows Miss Mo LoBeau and her best friend Dale as they try to solve a ghostly mystery in their small town of Tupelo Landing. If you are looking for a bit of mystery, action and humor all rolled in to one, then this is the book for you.

My name is Melissa McBride and I am the Elementary Librarian at Southold Elementary School. We are a small district on the North Fork of Long Island. This blog will be a forum to let my students, teachers and parents know about anything book related - book reviews, hottest new releases, books being turned into movies, books I am currently reading; pretty much anything you can think of.
